Getting started
What do I need to use Wild Live Studio?
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later, and a streaming server that accepts RTMP or SRT, such as SRS, Nginx-RTMP, OBS, or a cloud relay. Wild Live Studio is the camera; it does not provide a streaming server or a viewing platform.
How do I add a stream profile?
Open Settings › Stream Profiles and tap +. Enter your server address, for example rtmp://example.com/live/stream-key or srt://example.com:10080?streamid=#!::r=live/cam1,m=publish. You can also paste a link with Import from Link.
How do I send a profile to other phones?
Open Settings › Stream Profiles › Profile QR Code. On the other iPhone, point the Camera app at the code and tap "Open in Wild Live Studio", then confirm the import.
Is my stream key safe in a QR code?
The QR code contains the full profile, including the stream key or SRT passphrase, so only share it with people who should be able to stream to your server. Wild Live Studio never sends it anywhere.
Troubleshooting
The stream won't connect
Check that the server address, port, and stream key are correct and that the server is reachable from the phone's network. For SRT, the passphrase must be 10 to 79 characters and must match the server. The status badge and the stream log show the exact error.
The stream keeps dropping or stuttering
Wild Live Studio reconnects automatically and lowers the bitrate when the network is weak. If it keeps happening, choose a lower quality or frame rate in the profile, or switch to a stronger network. SRT usually handles unstable networks better than RTMP.
The phone gets hot
4K, 60 fps, and local recording at the same time use the most power. When the phone gets too hot, the app warns you and reduces load to keep streaming. Take the phone out of direct sunlight and remove thick cases on long streams.
There's no sound after a phone call
The app restores audio automatically when an interruption ends. If it doesn't, tap the microphone button off and on again, and check the mic level meter on the main screen.
