Wild Live StudioPrivacy Policy
Wild Live Studio ("the App") is developed by Erek Zeng (曾锋). In short: the App does not collect any personal data.
1. What we don't collect
- We do not operate any servers for the App, and the App does not send any data to us or to any third party.
- The App contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data-collection SDKs.
- No account is required. We do not collect your name, phone number, email, location, device identifiers, or contacts.
2. Camera and microphone
The App uses the camera and microphone to capture the video and audio of your live stream. This audio and video is sent only to the server you enter in your stream profile (an RTMP or SRT address). The developer has no access to it. You can turn off camera and microphone access at any time in iOS Settings.
3. Data stored on your device
The following stays on your device and is never uploaded:
- Stream profiles: server addresses, stream keys, etc. SRT passphrases are stored in the iOS Keychain.
- Local recordings: saved in the App's Documents folder when you choose to record; you can delete them in the App.
- Stream logs: kept on the device for 7 days to help troubleshoot dropped streams. Stream keys and passphrases are never written to the logs.
- System diagnostics: crash and hang summaries that iOS provides on-device through MetricKit, written only to the local log above.
- App settings: preferences such as layout and mirroring.
Deleting the App deletes this data (iOS may keep Keychain items; they are overwritten if you reinstall).
4. In-app purchases
Pro purchases (subscriptions or the lifetime purchase) are processed by Apple through the App Store; your payment information never reaches us. The App only reads whether you own a purchase in order to unlock features. The running total of free streaming time is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and is never uploaded.
5. Content you choose to share
When you tap "Share" to send a stream log, a recording, or a profile QR code, the content goes through the iOS share sheet to the app or person you choose. Sharing is always initiated by you, and we never receive it.
6. This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics, or third-party resources. Like any web server, it may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, and page requested) for a short period for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not used to identify you or shared with anyone.
7. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Before releasing any feature that changes how data is handled, we will update this policy first.
